Student Service

Student Service is in charge of all administration regarding the students at the ATCM programme. You can therefore contact them if you need to go on sick leave, maternity leave, leave of absence etc. Open hours: daily from 8:15 to 12:15 and 13:00 to 14:30 in room HA101c.

I want a leave of absence. What do I do?

You have to fill in and sign a form, which is to be handed in to Student Service. By advantage you can make an appointment with the student counsellor Goar Pallesen, who can help you fill in the form. The leave of absence is first valid when Student Service has recieved the form. Please be aware that it is not possible to receive SU during your leave, unless it is a maternity leave, leave because of adoption or leave because of millitary service. Moreover you have to be aware that you cannot get a leave of absence before you have passed the test after the first year. Find the form here.

I have to go on sick leave. What do I do?

You have to fill in and sign a form of sick leave, which is to be handed in to Student Service with a valid medical report. By advantage you can make an appointment with the student counsellor Goar Pallesen, who can help you fill in the form of sick leave. The sick leave is first valid when Student Service has recieved the form. You have the right to recieve SU while on sick leave. I am going on maternity leave. What do I do?

You have to fill in and sign a form of maternity leave, which is to be handed in to Student Service. By advantage you can make an appointment with the student counsellor Goar Pallesen, who can help you fill in the form of maternity leave. The maternity leave is first valid when Student Service has recieved the form. You have the right to recieve SU while on maternity leave. How do I get a transcript of records/letter of acceptance?

You have to contact Student Service, who will make the necessay documents for you. It is possible to get the documents either in paperform or on e-mail.

What is SPS (Special Educational Support) and how do I apply for it?

SPS (Special Educational Support) is an offer to students who have a physical or psycological disability which causes a special need for support in order to complete the education. Depending on your disability, you can get special types of support. Fx you can get support if you are dyslexic, blind, hearing impaired or has reduced mobility. To apply for SPS you need to contact SPS-counsellor Kirsti Lindequist-Sørensen at tel. 61 98 73 41 or e-mail kil@aarhustech.dk.
